Consultant shall always act in the best interest of the client, providing professional services with integrity, objectivity, and independence.
Consultant shall accept only those assignments for which the Consultant has the qualifications, knowledge and skill to serve the client effectively.
Consultant will always make every attempt to identify the client's real needs.
Consultant will always clearly specify his role in the client's project or assignment.
Consultant will always inform his client of his basic approach to client's problem.
Consultant will always work to the best of his/her ability to ensure the quick success of the client's project.
Consultant will not try to sell to Client what client does not need.
Consultant shall, before accepting an assignment, reach a mutual understanding with the client as to the objectives, scope, work plan, and costs.
Consultant shall establish fee arrangements with a client in advance of any substantive work, and will be very clear and transparent on the matter of his fees. Fees will always be presented forthrightly so that the client will always know what they are paying for.
Consultant shall avoid conflicts of interest or the appearance of such, and shall not accept simultaneous assignments from two or more clients who have potentially conflicting interests without informing all parties in advance thereby securing all parties' prior agreement.
Consultant shall treat clients' information as confidential and take all reasonable steps to prevent said information from being accessed by unauthorized people; thereby not taking advantage of such privileged information for use without appropriate permission.
Consultant shall not engage in any malfeasance, dangerous behavior, or illegal activities in any matter related to an assignment, and shall report to the appropriate authorities within; or externally to, a client's organization any such activities discovered within the scope of an assignment.
